H.O.M.E. Connect is a project born from the ideas of individuals, by way of the Leadership Clayton Class of 2023, who are passionately concerned about homelessness. The acronym H.O.M.E. stands for Helping Others Move into Empowerment. Our goal is to bridge the gap between Community Organizations from non-profit, for-profit, faith-based, and community-minded Businesses in Clayton County and the people of Clayton County who are struggling with homelessness.
We understand that there are several great organizations doing great work in Clayton County to help combat this rising issue, but many are operating in silos, which continues to create a disconnect between those who can and those who cannot benefit from these excellent resource services. We want to connect and collaborate with these organizations so that better, more efficient services are provided. It is our desire to see that no person or family is left hopeless or without the answers and help they so desperately need.
