Councils and Committees There are many opportunities for you to volunteer your time and services on committees, councils, and task forces. Listed below are the current groups that are available at the Chamber.

Mission:
To serve as liaisons and ambassadors between the Chamber and new and existing members. The Chamber Partners contact new members to welcome and invite them to events, assist at ribbon cuttings, coordinate new member and guest introductions at the Early Bird Breakfast, plan the New Member Orientations, the membership campaign and assist with event registration.

Mission:
This countywide program for high school sophomores is designed to nurture and develop positive leadership qualities among the youth in Clayton County.

Mission:
To facilitate discussion on the various economic development initiatives that will create a diverse inventory of employment for the citizens of Clayton County and its municipalities.

To provide a forum for businesses to discuss educational issues and to actively support quality education in Clayton County.

To provide an open dialogue between the chamber and elected officials on the local, state, and federal levels. In addition, to evaluate legislative issues that affects the business community.

Mission:
To receive inbound trade missions, assist outbound missions and promote international trade, education, arts and culture for Clayton County.

Mission:
To engage emerging and existing leaders in a nine-month program that broadens their knowledge of the issues facing Clayton County, sharpens their leadership skills and challenges them and others to seek solutions to the issues affecting our communities.

Mission:
The Small Business Development Group (SBDG) provides educational programs and events that focus on small businesses and benefits the membership at large. The SBDG hosts and organizes the Business to Business Luncheons, the Member to Member Professional Development Series, and the Showcase Clayton Business & Community Expo and coordinates the Small Business of the Year Award.

Mission:
To provide an environment where professional women can network and share information essential to their business and professional lives. The WIBC provides programs and services to promote and support women in all areas of business, government and education. The Council hosts and organizes the Annual Women in Business Luncheon, coordinates the Business Woman of the Year Award and Quarterly Women in Business Council events. The Council oversees and manages the WIBC Mentoring Program.
